AFC Cup 2018: ASEAN Zonal final preview - 2nd leg

After the draw in the first leg that saw Ceres Negros held 1-1 at home by Singapore's Home United, the second leg on Wednesday night is all set to capture the imagination of the fans and pundits alike. 

Blake Powell's penalty had seen Philippine's Ceres Negros take the lead in the first leg, only for Isaka Cernak to score a vital away goal for Home United which gives them a slight advantage, going into this game. 

Last year's final had seen Ceres trumping Home United and this is an opportunity for the home team to gain revenge.

Home United have not lost at home at all in the tournament this time around, clocking three wins and a draw in their four ties at Jalan Besar Stadium. Korea Republic midfielder Song Ui-young has been a consistent source of goals for Home United, with seven goals to his name. 

Ceres, meanwhile, have won only one of the past five meetings with the Singapore club. But they will count on their good away form in the tournament to carry them through. Blake Powell will be their main man up front.
