WHAT HAPPENED? Last week, Sportsbild reported that Jurgen Klopp has put the German midfielder on his transfer wishlist but Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg now claims that it is unlikely that the Premier League giants will be able to land the player even if he decides to leave Bayern Munich next season as the player's preferred destinations could be either of Real Madrid or Manchester City.

THE BIGGER PICTURE: The former Chelsea youth player has a contract with his current club until 2026 and despite reports of the 20-year-old being left frustrated due to lack of starts under Thomas Tuchel, he is not thinking of moving out of the German club at the moment.
