PSL DC to hear Orlando Pirates and Polokwane City protests against Tendai Ndoro next week

The Premier Soccer League disciplinary committe will sit next week Thursday to hear the two protests lodged by both Orlando Pirates and Polokwane City against Ajax Cape Town. 

Pirates and City protested the inclusion of Tendani Ndoro in the Ajax starting line-up on January 31 and February 4 respectively. 

According to article 5.3 of the Fifa rulebook, Ndoro was not supposed to feature for the Urban Warriors this season as he had already played for two different teams prior to joining the Mother City-based club this season.

However, the Zimbabwean attacker was cleared of any wrongdoing by the PSL DC, and Muhsin Ertugral has continued to field him even after the PSL made it clear that it would appeal the decision. 

Meanwhile, the PSL DC will also hear the matter brought against Bidvest Wits and their official, Jonathan Schloss, on the same day (February 15). 

Both Wits and Schloss were charged with misconduct following alleged remarks made by the club official towards Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela in the two teams' 1-1 draw in September 2017. 

The PSL released the following statement:

The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee will sit next week, on 15 February 2018 for the two protests by Polokwane City FC and Orlando Pirates FC against Ajax Cape Town FC.

The two clubs lodged protests ahead of their Absa Premiership fixtures against Ajax Cape Town for fielding of Mr Tendai Ndoro.

Ajax Cape Town played Mr Ndoro against Orlando Pirates on 31 January and against Polokwane City on 04 February 2018.

The PSL DC will also hear the matter against Mr Jonathan Schloss and Bidvest Wits.

Mr Schloss and Bidvest Wits were charged with misconduct pursuant to the fixture between Bidvest Wits and Kaizer Chiefs which took place on 16 September 2017.
