EXTRA TIME: How South Africa reacted to Paraguay draw

Bafana Bafana and their South American opponents shared the Nelson Mandela Challenge trophy on Tuesday night

The South African national football team and Paraguay drew 1-1 at the FNB Stadium.

New Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau rescued the team with a late equaliser, coming in injury time, to the relief of coach Stuart Baxter.

That became South Africa's second draw in two games during this international break.

On the weekend SA drew 1-1 with Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

These draws won't place Baxter under further pressure but it keeps the fans' faith in the team in the balance. South Africa only needs a draw against Libya to qualify for the 2019 Afcon.

You can read the fans' reaction to the result on Twitter, and also enjoy some pre-match videos in the Bafana camp.
