That is all for today - thanks for tuning in!
It's Premier League action for both sides next weekend. Chelsea host Everton while Leicester travel to Brentford.
Goals from Chilwell, Havertz and Kovacic are enough for Chelsea as they conclude a fantastic week with a 3-1 win against Leicester City. Chilwell struck early with a fine volley following a corner before Daka's well-hit strike drew Rodgers' side level. However, Havertz's deft finish gave Chelsea the lead again just before the break before Kovacic's thumping volley secured all three points for Potter's side in the second half against a Leicester side that faded away and were reduced to ten men after Faes' sending off in the closing stages.
90' + 7' FULL-TIME: LEICESTER CITY 1-3 CHELSEA
90' + 4' Cucurella makes a good burst onto the edge of the box but his cut-back evades all the Chelsea players in the box.
90' + 3' The third Chelsea goal and the red card have taken the wind out of Leicester's sails and Chelsea are popping the ball about well as they look to close out this match.
90' There will be seven minutes of added time to end this game.
J. Evans
J. Maddison
90' Maddison makes way after the red card and Evans is brought on at centre-back.
87' RED CARD! From bad to worse for Leicester as Faes is sent off for a second yellow card. It's a poor challenge on Chukwuemeka and the referee has no choice but to give the Leicester defender his second yellow card and send him off.
B. Badiashile
W. Fofana
86' Fofana goes down with a knock and will be replaced by Badiashile in defence.
C. Chukwuemeka
M. Mudryk
82' Having just assisted the third goal, Mudryk makes way for Chukwuemeka.
M. Mudryk
Assist
78' It was a well-cushioned header from Mudryk to set up Kovacic for the emphatic finish.
M. Kovačić
Goal
78' GOOOALLLL!! CHELSEA HAVE THEIR THIRD! 3-1! That could be the final nail in the coffin for the home side as Kovacic adds a third for Chelsea. Havertz picks up the ball on the right and floats a ball into Mudryk who heads it back to the onrushing Kovacic. The midfielder makes no mistake and fires a thumping volley past Ward. There is a VAR check for offside but the goal will stand.
77' Vardy is almost immediately into the action but he can't quite get the right contact on Pereira's cross to direct it on target.
J. Vardy
K. Ịheanachọ
76' Leicester make another change as Vardy is introduced for Iheanacho.
75' OFFSIDE! Mudryk goes through on goal and fires home. The Ukranian goes off to celebrate but those are cut short as the offside flag goes up and the goal is disallowed.
74' Dewsbury-Hall catches an effort well this time but it is from distance and Kepa is equal to it and able to make the stop.
T. Chalobah
R. Loftus-Cheek
73' Chalobah is also introduced with Loftus-Cheek making way.
C. Pulišić
B. Chilwell
72' Chelsea make a double change. First off is goalscorer Chilwell with Pulisic replacing him.
72' CHANCE! Kepa flaps at another cross and Barnes heads it back into the six-yard box. It falls to Dewsbury-Hall but he scuffs his effort and Kepa is able to make the save. That's a huge let-off for the away side.
68' SAVE! It's another big save from a corner and this time Ward reacts well to palm away Havertz's downward header.
68' Mudryk once again tries to get the better of Souttar but the Australian does well to make a block and deny the shot on goal.
H. Barnes
P. Daka
66' Leicester's goalscorer Daka is replaced by Barnes.
Tetê
D. Amartey
66' Tete comes on to replace Amartey as Leicester switch shape.
B. Soumaré
N. Mendy
66' Leicester make a triple change following that change. First off is Mendy with Soumare replacing him.
65' OFF THE LINE! Leicester finally fashion an opportunity in this second half from a tempting cross. Kepa comes to claim the ball but misses it and is off his line. Leicester fire an effort on goal from Dewsbury-Hall which Souttar deflects goalbound but Gallagher is on the line to clear the ball away.
63' Chelsea win it back quickly and Gallagher feeds Havertz but the German is off-balance and fires high and wide.
63' Gallagher cuts back on the right to create space for the cross but it is overhit and sails out for another goal kick.
61' Mudryk looks to create something down the right but Souttar shepherds the man and the ball out of play for a goal kick.
60' Play resumes as Maddison hobbles gingerly after the challenge.
57' Maddison goes down under a challenge with Fernandez but the referee waves away protests for a foul. The ball is kicked out an the Englishman is receiving treatment.
56' There is a pause in play now as Kepa receives treatment following the collision with Iheanacho.
55' Daka and Iheanacho combine well up front but Kepa is off his line quickly to snuff out the chance as Iheanacho looks to prod an effort on goal.
55' The home side have had 60% possession in the opening ten minutes of the second half but are still without a shot on goal in that time.
Ricardo Pereira
Yellow Card
51' Pereira with a late sliding challenge on Fernandez and the Leicester wing-back receives a yellow card.
49' There is a pause in play as Mudryk receives treatment but he looks fit to continue.
46' SAVE! An early chance from a corner for Chelsea and Ward has to react quickly to tip Fofana's effort over the bar.
46' Chelsea get the second half underway.
C. Gallagher
João Félix
46' Chelsea make a change at half-time with Gallagher coming on for Joao Felix.
It was a non-stop first half but Potter should be pleased with how his Chelsea side have applied themselves in that first period. They could have had another two from Joao Felix and were only denied by the post and the offside flag. They have given Leicester opportunities at points through lapse defending and Rodgers' side will need to make the most of them in the second period if they are to find a way back into this game.
Plenty of action at the King Power Stadium but it is Chelsea who lead 2-1 after goals from Chilwell and Havertz. The former Leicester man opened the scoring with a lovely volley which caught Ward out at his near post. Chelsea thought they had doubled their lead when Joao Felix swept home but it was ruled out for offside Moments later, the Portuguese forward gave the ball away and allowed Daka to sneak in and fire home to equalise. However, Havertz's late finish - a lovely dinked effort after a lofted ball from Fernandez - means Potter's side have a one-goal advantage at the break.
45' + 6' HALF-TIME: LEICESTER CITY 1-2 CHELSEA
E. Fernández
Assist
45' + 6' It's a lovely assist from Fernandez to find Havertz, who dinks it over Ward for Chelsea's second.
K. Havertz
Goal
45' + 6' GOOOOAAAALLL!!! CHELSEA LEAD! 2-1! Right on the brink of half-time and Chelsea have their second through Havertz. It's a delightful chipped ball over the top by Fernandez and Havertz delicately dinks the ball over Ward and into the net on the volley to restore his side's lead.
45' + 1' There is a pause in play as Havertz is down after a challenge with Amartey and a nasty follow-through from the Leicester player. There is a VAR check for a red card but nothing is given.
45' There will be four minutes of added time to end this first half.
44' Maddison strikes the effort but it deflects off the wall. There are claims of handball as the ball strikes Fofana but VAR doesn't award a penalty.
42' Leicester enjoy a great spell of chances as shots reign down on the Chelsea goal. Iheanacho's effort is saved before another is blocked and now the home side win a free-kick on the edge of the box.
41' SAVE! Now Leicester nearly take the lead through Maddison but his vicious strike is well-saved by Kepa with a strong, flying save.
Ricardo Pereira
Assist
39' Pereira does well to steal the ball off Joao Felix before the loose ball allows Daka to finish.
P. Daka
Goal
39' GOOOALLLL!!! LEICESTER DRAW LEVEL! 1-1! Moments after having a goal disallowed, Joao Felix plays a huge part in Leicester's equaliser. He overplays in his own half and is disposed. The loose ball falls to Daka and it's a sweet left-footed hit from outside the box which flies past Kepa and into the corner.
37' That is a real let-off for Leicester who, despite their back three, have looked open at times at the back. They will need to remain tighter at the back or this star-studded Chelsea attack may well strike again.
34' OFFSIDE!! Chelsea think they have their second through Joao Felix but the goal is ruled out. The Portuguese striker swept home the cross from Loftus-Cheek's cross but he had strayed a fraction offside and VAR chalks it off.
Marc Cucurella
Yellow Card
31' Cucurella is the second Chelsea player into the book after a late tackle on Dewsbury-Hall.
29' Daka gives chase down the right flank but Chilwell gets back and recovers well to snuff out the danger.
26' OFF THE BAR!! It's Leicester's turn to test the woodwork and this time it comes to the aid of Chelsea. The ball falls to Dewsbury-Hall on the edge of the box and his left-footed effort deflects off Koulibaly. Kepa is rooted to the spot but, thankfully for him, the effort crashes off the bar and into his hands.
24' POST!! So close to a second from Chelsea. A good spell of possession from Leicester is broken up and it is a superb ball over the top into the path of Joao Felix. The Portuguese forward takes it down expertly and dinks it over the onrushing Ward but it cannons back off the post.
20' Chelsea have another opportunity straight after the free-kick as Amartey gives away the ball cheaply. Mudryk recovers it and feeds it to Havertz but his effort is blocked.
20' Chilwell delivers from the free-kick and Ward can claim.
W. Faes
Yellow Card
19' Loftus-Cheek makes a good burst down the right and Faes is booked after he brings down the Chelsea man.
14' WIDE!! Leicester almost respond immediately from the set piece. Maddison whips in a devilish cross to the back post. Kepa flaps at it and misses it but Amartey is unable to get enough contact on the ball and his header goes agonisingly wide of the post.
W. Fofana
Yellow Card
13' Fofana receives a yellow card early after a high boot on Castagne.
K. Koulibaly
Assist
11' Koulibaly did well to recover the ball and send the cross back in. It found Chilwell and it was a fine volley from the English wing-back.
B. Chilwell
Goal
11' GOAAAALLLL!!! CHELSEA LEAD! 1-0! Chilwell with a well-hit volley and Chelsea have the lead. The wing-back delivers the cross which Leicester initially clear but Koulibaly recovers the ball and sends it back into the box and all the way back to Chilwell. The former Leicester player catches it cleanly on the volley and catches Ward out at his near post.
9' The ball squirms through to Maddison on the edge of the box but he can't catch it cleanly and Kepa makes a regulation save.
7' Leicester nearly catch the Chelsea defence out with a quickly taken free-kick but Daka can't quite latch on to the ball over the top and Kepa claims the ball.
4' The game restarts and Joao Felix looks okay to continue.
3' There is an early pause in play with Joao Felix down after a challenge.
1' Leicester get this first half underway.
