Want-away Man City star Kyle Walker & wife Annie Kilner building ‘dream mansion’ as part of Lauryn Goodman ‘escape’ plan

Having seen England international Walker father two children with former Love Island contestant Goodman, Kilner was said to have opened divorce proceedings in the autumn of 2024 – with half of her husband’s supposed £27 million ($33m) fortune set to come her way.

The Walkers did, however, spend Christmas as a family and any thoughts of heading their separate ways have been put on hold for now. Instead, plans for a new adventure outside of the Premier League are being drawn up as experienced full-back Walker sees a move to Serie A giants AC Milan speculated on.

Kilner is eager to escape the drama that Goodman continues to generate, with a source telling Heat of plans to enjoy a break in Italy before eventually heading home: “Annie has decided that her and the boys will be by Kyle’s side as he finishes his career abroad. They're also having their dream home built in between Manchester and Sheffield, which will take a couple of years to complete, so it seems the perfect time for them to go abroad, escape Lauryn, work on their marriage, and start again. Although it will be hard for Annie to leave her friends and family, she feels this is the only way she can fix her relationship with Kyle.”

The insider added on the blueprint being drawn up for a brighter future in the Walker household, which will see a lavish new home constructed: “Annie wants them to be one big family, and if they can escape Lauryn, then they stand a chance. If they can get through living abroad, they can come back to their dream mansion and finally start enjoying life in England again. They both know Kyle will always financially support his children with Lauryn, and they both feel strong enough to deal with her antics. Kyle is really the one to blame for a lot of this, but Annie has seen he is remorseful and knows that he does love her and the boys, so this move could be the making of them.”

Walker is said to have agreed a loan-to-buy switch to San Siro, with a medical being lined up in Italy. Off-field distractions have impacted his form this season, with highly-decorated stars enduring inconsistent campaigns at City in 2024-25.
