Vinicius Junior makes final decision on Saudi Arabia transfer as Real Madrid prepare huge announcement

It has been reported that a €1 billion offer was awaiting the Brazilian winger in the Saudi Pro League, but he still feels that his future lies in the Spanish capital. Vinicius is now set to commit to fresh terms at Santiago Bernabeu.

The 24-year-old has agreed to sign a new deal with the Spanish giants, Cadena SER reports, having rejected the offers from the Middle East. Vinicius' new contract will be confirmed at the end of the campaign, with the ex-Flamengo star signing on for two or three more years on his current deal that expires in 2027.

Madrid crashed out of the Champions League this season and may miss out on the league title in Spain - a massive drop from their double success last term. Vinicius and Madrid were left apoplectic after the attacker missed out on the Ballon d'Or last year, but their underwhelming 2024-25 campaign means he is unlikely to be in the running for the prize this time around.

Before the new contract is announced, Vinicius will attempt to build on the 20 goals and 14 assists he has under his belt this season when Madrid face Getafe in a crucial La Liga clash on Wednesday.
