Mamelodi Sundowns defeated Polokwane City 2-0 on Wednesday in the Premier Soccer League game staged at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The win was Masandawana's sixth in the South African top tier, and as a result they are now on 18 points, eight more than their closest challengers.
The fans have given up already on hopes of seeing another team lifting the league crown this season since Masandawana have proven to be too strong to be challenged.
