'You won't take it to heaven' - Marseille star Adrien Rabiot hits back at horrific insults from PSG fans and calls out president Nasser Al-Khelaifi after Ligue 1 derby

Rabiot faced a hostile reception from PSG fans as he returned to the Parc des Princes on Sunday night with Marseille for the first time since his bitter exit in 2019. The midfielder was targeted by offensive chants and banners in a fiery contest that ended in a 3-1 win for the hosts. One banner read: “Loyalty for men, betrayal for whores – like mother, like son.”

Rabiot was also booed and jeered through and his mother Veronique, who acts as his agent, spoke of her fury afterwards. She told France Info: "I don't understand why the match wasn't stopped. I don't understand why no one is outraged. I'm really outraged, outraged, really outraged by what can be said and written, without anyone reacting." The midfielder has now had his say on social media and let rip at his former club and president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

He posted on Instagram: "Insulting a mother, and a deceased father... Everything has to be paid for one day. You won't take it to heaven. Believe me. Nasser, you can have all the money in the world and even more, class can't be bought."

Rabiot's mother has also confirmed she plans to file a complaint about the fans' chants and banners. Sunday's win saw PSG extend their lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table to 19 points over Marseille.
