Antony is enjoying life in La Liga after swapping Manchester United for Real Betis in the January transfer window. The Brazilian star has now scored seven goals and contributed four assists for Manuel Pellegrini's side in just 20 games so far in 2025. And Betis have been quick to point out how those numbers are better than those managed by Real Madrid superstar and Ballon d'Or winner Vinicius Jr since Antony arrived in Spain. Los Verdiblancos also claim "there's only clear Ballon d'Or contender in my books" and add a GOAT emoji for good measure.
Since the beginning of February, no player has managed to create more clear-cut goalscoring chances than Antony (8) in La Liga.

Manuel Pellegrini's side are 2-1 up at the halfway point of their Europa Conference League semi-final tie with Fiorentina and could still secure secure fifth place in La Liga which would see the team qualify for next season's Champions League.
