THE BIGGER PICTURE
The midfielder recently shared her grievance over the disparity of the pay scale of men and women footballers while claiming her partner makes '100,000 times more' money than her. While the exact salary of the players remains unknown, the Italian giants spent €50 million (£42m/$54m) to sign the Brazil international while Lehmann came for a reported €50,000.
WHAT ALISHA LEHMANN SAID
Speaking to La Repubblica, the 25-year-old said: "I'm not a star, I'm a normal person. I go home, I cook, I do the same thing as everyone else. After training, I often tell Douglas that it's unfair. We do the same job, but he earns a hundred thousand times more than me."
