For Alexander Nollenberger, 1. FC Magdeburg’s cup match against Bayern Munich was already special because of his past with the record champions. A moment with Michael Olise was the icing on the cake.
Michael Olise apparently paid tribute to Harry Kane with an unusual goal celebration during Bayern Munich’s 6-1 win over 1. FC Magdeburg. After his second goal, the Frenchman gestured towards the substitutes’ bench, where the Englishman returned the gesture with a smile.
Bayern Munich cruised into the DFB-Pokal round of 16 at the Allianz Arena, with Michael Olise pulling the strings against their 2. Bundesliga visitors.
Vincent Kompany has been discharged from hospital, five days after collapsing at Bayern Munich's training ground on Friday. Max Eberl has now revealed that the head coach's condition was diagnosed as meningeal irritation, and while no timescale has been set for his return, Bayern's board member for sport is confident he will be back to full fitness very soon.
