Agent in Turin for talks
Juve plot January transfer
Spurs want €30m (£26m/$32m)
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Bianconeri are looking to strengthen in midfield and Corriere dello Sport reports that the 28-year-old's representative travelled to Turin for talks with sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli. The Serie A side have long been linked with the Denmark international and he has also been on Roma's radar recently.
Ex-Southampton star Hojbjerg is open to a change of scenery as his place in the Spurs squad has been diminished since Ange Postecoglou's arrival. He has been limited to less than 80 minutes of playing time spread out across five Premier League games this season.
AND WHAT'S MORE
The financial aspect of the deal is the biggest obstacle for Juventus, given Spurs are said to want around €30 million (£26m/$32m) for Hojbjerg. With his contract set to expire in 2025, however, Juve are considering an attempt to bring him in on loan from January until the end of the season with the hope they can get him for a lower price in the summer.
