Alisha Lehmann revels in Juventus rout of Freedom FC as Bianconera end pre-season with emphatic win

Lehmann played an important role in Juventus' 4-0 rout of second-division side Freedom FC on Sunday in Vinova. The midfielder contributed with an assist as the Bianconera ended their pre-season on a high courtesy of a brace from Amalie Vangsgaard, while Lindsey Thomas and Sofia Cantore scored a goal each.

On Monday, the Swiss star took to Instagram to share some photographs from the friendly as she wrote in the caption, "About yesterday."

The Italian giants and Lehmann had a successful pre-season as they won the Women's Cup in the United States and they played out a goalless draw against Bayern Munich in their trip to Germany. The 25-year-old who completed her move to Juventus from Aston Villa earlier this summer, is now raring to make her debut in Italy.

Since her move to Italy, the former Villans star is slowly picking up the local language. She had earlier filmed herself speaking Italian alongside Juventus team-mate Cristiana Girelli.

The Switzerland international could make her competitive debut on September 1 as Juventus face Sassuolo in their Serie A season opener.
