Zahera returns home after signing Yanga contract

Mwinyi Zahera has signed a two year deal as new Yanga Head Coach.

The Congolese fills the vacuum created by the departure of George Lwandamina a few weeks ago. The latter has since re-joined Zambian outfit, Zesco United.

Zahera, a former Assistant Coach of the DR Congo national team assumed his reign this week and was presented through Yanga TV.

After signing the contract with Yanga Zahera returned home and he is not expected to lead the club in their away league match against Mwadui on Saturday.

Yanga have had a poor spell since Lwandamina's departure and are winless in eight games.

They went on to lose the Ligi Kuu title to Simba and are bottom of the table in their CAF Confederation Cup.
