Italian striker Massimo Maccarone has left Brisbane Roar after only one season with the club.
The Covert Agent can reveal the 38-year-old and the club have decided to part ways now that the Roar's finals campaign has ended.
Maccarone scored nine goals and gave off five assists from his 28 A-League appearances after signing a one-year marquee contract with John Aloisi's team.
It is unknown whether the veteran will hang up the boots or continue playing at a different club.
Goalkeeper Brendan White has also been released.
