Algeria internationals including Islam Slimani Sofiane Feghouli and Faouzi Ghoulam have taken to social media to celebrate the country’s Independence Day.

The north African nation gained her independence from France on July 5, 1962 after an eight-year long war for freedom.

And the football stars have joined the rest of the country in marking the annual national holiday.

Gloire à nos martyrs. 🙏🙏🙏
