TEAM NEWS: Muchiri benched as Tusker parade squad

Boniface Muchiri will start from the bench when Tusker plays Bandari in a Kenyan Premier League match on Sunday.

Muchiri made the switch to the brewers from Sony Sugar last Friday and got his debut goal during a 8-3 win in a friendly against National Super League side Police. But just as he started from the bench in that build-up, Muchiri is yet to break into Tusker’s starting line-up.

Head coach Geroge ‘Best’ Nsimbe has however, handed two new signings Paul Odhiambo and David Mwangi starting roles. Allan Wanga will lead Tusker’s attack with veteran Duncan Ochieng' starting between the posts.

James Situma and Brian Osumba as well as Noah Wafula will also start while Eugine Asike, Lloyd Wahome, Clifford Alwanga will start from the bench.

Tusker are top of the table as they prepare to meet their former coach, Paul Nkata whose side lie on ninth place with only 19 points.
