Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that promising goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma has signed a four-and-a-year deal with the club.
The 21-year-old shot-stopper was recently promoted from the Chiefs reserve team which campaigns in the Multichoice Diski Challenge.
He was on the bench against Mamelodi Sundowns last weekend as Luthando Sixhaso was unavailable due to a family bereavement, while Brilliant Khuzwayo is out nursing a long-term injury.
“That was an awesome feeling. I never dreamed that this opportunity would come so soon," Bvuma told Chiefs' official website.
“The other goalkeepers helped me a lot. And when in camp, Itu came to my room and we had a man-to-man chat.

"Our goalkeeper coach, Alex Revoredo, also helped me, advising to ‘just relax and enjoy myself," he added.
Brazilian keeper coach Revoredo has been impressed by the young talented goal-minder.
“He’s very clever, learning quickly. He’s physically in a very good shape and he’s quality from a technical point of view. He has a lot of potential," he said.
“Bruce is a no-stress guy. This was his first warming-up before an official game of the first team and he handled it as a seasoned keeper.
“From there on I knew that if we had needed him in the Sundowns match, Bruce would have risen to the occasion with confidence.”
Chiefs team manager Bobby Motaung is pleased to see another academy graduate promoted to their first team.
“Bruce was part of the development side. This contract confirms our intent to promote players from our youth academy to the first team. He has a great future ahead of him," he said.
