Oblak looking to leave Atletico


Jan Oblak wants to leave Atletico Madrid after not receiving a new contract, according to Marca.

Oblak is currently under contract through 2021, but is looking to leave in the January window in the absence of a new deal.

The goalkeeper has previously stated his desire to remain with the club, which has extended a number of top stars including Saul, Koke and Antoine Griezmann in recent months. 

FC Cincy unlikely to sign DPs ahead of MLS debut


With the club's MLS debut set for next season, FC Cincinnati is unlikely to spend big on any major stars.

According to, the club isn't likely to sign a Designated Player ahead of their debut to join current DP Fanendo Adi.

“At this stage, I’d say probably not,” head coach Alan Koch said. “We’ve put a lot of work into building something and I think our club philosophy is to be as fiscally responsible as possible. We do go case by case, of course, and we know we’ve got a lot of business ahead of us, but if you’re asking me right now, I’d say probably not, no.”

De Gea 'may be looking' at Man Utd exit


David de Gea's former coach says the goalkeeper 'may be looking' at leaving Manchester United with the Spanish star yet to commit to a new contract.

Eric Steele, who left Old Trafford in the wake of David Moyes’ arrival in 2013, says he hopes the goalkepeer stays on but would understand why he would be looking at other options.

Arsenal eye Juventus defender Rugani


Looking for a bit more quality at the back, Arsenal are looking at Juventus Daniele Rugani.

According to the Express, Arsenal are monitoring the Italian defender, who has begun learning English ahead of a Premier League move.

However, with Chelsea said to be leading the race for Rugani, Arsenal could also turn to Andreas Christensen or Eric Bailly. 

Solari named permanent manager at Real Madrid


Santiago Solari has signed a three-year contract to remain Real Madrid manager through the 2020-21 season.

The Argentinian manager has been perfect since replacing Julen Lopetegui, colliecting four wins from four matches in three competitions.

The club announced on Tuesday that Velazquez was on his way out after just 13 games in charge which saw two wins, three draws and eight losses.

Nicola has managed Crotone, Bari, Livorno and Lumezzane while also playing nearly 20 years in Italy


Juventus lining up move for James


Juventus are lookign to make a move for James Rodriguez, according to Calcio Mercato.

The Colombian star is currently on loan with Bayern Munich, but it remains to be seen if the German club opts to keep him or return Rodriguez to Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Juventus's relationship with agent Jorge Mendes is seen as a boost to their case.

Murray signs Brighton extension


Glenn Murray has signed a contract extension, Brighton & Hove announced on Tuesday.

Murray is the club’s leading goalscorer, having scored six times this season, and will remain with the club through the 2019-20 season.

“We are delighted to have extended Glenn’s contract. He has proved a vital member of the team and his goals have been crucial to us," said manager Chris Hughton. 

“Glenn has scored consistently for us, first in helping us win promotion, and now in the Premier League as we seek to establish ourselves at the top level. 

“He’s proved himself at the very top late in his career, and his professionalism and approach on and off the pitch is a big factor in why he’s still doing it now."


Young wants assurances at Man Utd


Ashley Young wants to be assured he will remain a part of first team plans before signing a new deal with Manhcester United, according to ESPN.

The England international's contract is set to expire at the end of the season, although he has been offered a one-year deal with a second option year.

Young has generated interest from other Premier League sides, as well as teams in MLS, but has lost out on a starting spot to Luke Shaw in recent weeks.

Ozil turned down 'crazy' offer to stay with Arsenal


Mesut Ozil's agent says the Arsenal star turned down a 'crazy' offer to remain with the Gunners.

The German signed a new deal that will keep him in London through 2021, but not before receiving a a £1 million-a-week approach from another club.

Elseid Hysaj is set to frustrate Manchester United and Chelsea, with contract talks having been opened at Napoli.

The Albania international full-back’s agent, Mario Giuffredi, has said: “We've been talking to Napoli for some time. In the next few weeks I'll meet the president to understand if there are the conditions for a renewal. He has only two-and-a-half years left on his contract.”
