KPL chairman James Musyoki has resigned

Kenyan Premier League chairman James Musyoki has resigned from his position.

This is by default, having resigned from Tusker FC chairmanship, a post which put him at the helm of Kenyan Premier League Limited company.

Gor Mahia suffer another friendly defeat

He has told Goal that his reason for leaving the jobs (Tusker and KPL) is to get ample time for his personal businesses.

“I have resigned from Tusker chairmanship and that affects KPL position too. It requires a lot of time to be the chairman of KPL and I have realized that it interferes with my my businesses, so I decided to leave the job.”

It comes at a time when KPL are in a hard tussle against Football Kenya Federation over league composition and Club Licensing rule. Goal understands Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier has been elevated to head KPL.
