Germany test comes at the perfect time for Brazil - Miranda

Miranda says Tuesday’s Brasil Global Tour clash with Germany in Berlin arrives at the perfect time for a Brazil side reborn under coach Tite.

The two teams will meet at the Olympiastadion Berlin as they face off for the first time since Germany’s victory over Brazil at World Cup 2014.

And defender Miranda is confident his side can claim victory in what will be another important step forward for Tite and his players.

“I think this is the ideal time to face them,” Miranda told a press conference in Berlin.

“We have that trust now and our heads are in the right place. It is inevitable there will be talk about 7-1, but we have to learn lessons from everything in life.

“Let's remain quiet and focus on trying to play our game. Tite is spectacular in these types of situation.”

Miranda watched on helplessly as Brazil fell to Germany in 2014 after being left out of the squad by previous coach Dunga.

And the Inter Milan stopper says he is desperate to be a major boost to his compatriots this time around.

“I get that feeling (that I should have played in 2014) because I was very well prepared but, at the same time, I accept that it was not meant to be,” he said.

“Things do not happen by chance. Today, I'm even more prepared and experienced, and I'm sure I can help the Selecao.”
