EXTRA TIME: How Arsenal’s Aubameyang and Kasimpasa’s Omeruo are faring in the snow

Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kasimpasa defender Kenneth Omeruo are adapting to ‘the Beast from the East’ that is taking over Europe.

'The Beast from the East' is a polar vortex, moving from Siberia in Russia and sweeping west across the continent towards the Atlantic Ocean thereby bringing snow, cold winds as it passes over European countries.

Following their English League Cup defeat at Wembley on Sunday, the Gunners were drilled in the snow as they prepare for Thursday’s English Premier League game against Manchester City.

And the Gabon international who arrived at the Emirates Stadium on a club-record fee from Borussia Dortmund in January, seems to be acclimatising himself with the frosty conditions.

Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo who is a loan from Chelsea, also turned out for Kasimpasa’s training in the snow as they get ready for Saturday’s Turkish Super Lig tie against Osmanlispor.
