Alcaraz defeated Daniil Medvedev 6-4 6-4 on Friday to progress to the semi-finals, where he will meet Novak Djokovic. Immediately after the victory, Alcaraz wrote Ronaldo's 'Siu' catchphrase on a nearby camera.

Alcaraz has developed into one of the best tennis players in the world, just as Ronaldo did when he was developing at Manchester United. Of course, the Portugal international is now at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, and is continuing to score goals.

Alcaraz may well be watching on when Portugal play Iceland next week. The Spaniard will be back in action on Saturday against Djokovic.
