The Red Devils got their hands on major silverware after easing to a 4-0 victory over their WSL rivals at Wembley Stadium. England star Ella Toone got the ball rolling in that contest with a stunning strike, before Rachel Williams doubled United’s lead and Lucia Garcia bagged a brace.

Earps has finally got her hands on a top prize with United, having been on their books since 2019, and has made the most of post-match celebrations. With spirits high in Marc Skinner’s camp, the Red Devils squad lined up for social media videos in the dressing room.

One of those saw Earps take centre stage, with the Lionesses goalkeeper showing off her dance moves as she twerked across the floor with the famous trophy in her hands. She was not the only one to indulge in such activity, with French forward Melvine Malard also getting in on the act.

With tangible success savoured, Earps now has a big decision to make on her future. The 31-year-old is approaching the end of her contract in Manchester and will become a free agent this summer if no fresh terms are agreed.
