    WHAT HAPPENED?

During a chaotic 2026 World Cup qualifier between Brazil and Argentina last week, the Madrid star got caught up in a heated argument with Inter Miami's main man, with some choice words exchanged between the pair.

According to some records, the Brazil forward accused Argentina of "acting like cowards", to which Messi replied "We are the world champions, how are we cowards? Watch your mouth." However, Rodrygo has refused to fan the flames, telling reporters he'd rather not speak out about the incident.

    WHAT RODRYGO SAID

Speaking to the Spanish press after the Champions League win, Rodrygo replied to a question about the incident in Brazil by saying: “I can't talk about that. Madrid won't let me." The youngster then laughed cheekily and sidled off, leaving us to wonder what conversations have gone on behind the scenes with Madrid's heirarchy.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Rodrygo's comments came after being questioned by reporters in the aftermath of Real Madrid's impressive fifth straight Champions League win last night.
