It's not all Rasmus Hojlund's fault! Damning statistic shows the AWFUL service struggling striker is getting at Man Utd

Since arriving in Manchester, the Dane has struggled in front of goal in the league. However, the young striker may consider himself harshly scrutinised given he has received fewer passes than any other centre-forwards in the Premier League. United's inability to find their focal point is highlighted by the fact Hojlund's strike partner, Anthony Martial, is second last in passes received. Neither Hojlund nor Martial have received more than 150 passes from their United team-mates this season.

United's struggles up top are not confined to who is leading the line, but rather, the system which has isolated their number nines too often this season. They are perhaps unfortunate that playmakers Mason Mount and Christian Eriksen have been absent with injuries, although Bruno Fernandes has been ever-present.

Despite his woes in the Premier League, Hojlund topped the scoring charts in the Champions League group stage with five - joint with Antoine Griezmann, Erling Haaland and Alvaro Morata.

Hojlund will be desperate for a Premier League goal and there would be no better place to score it than at Anfield. United, full of pessimism, travel to Liverpool tomorrow for the first time since last season's 7-0 thumping.
