Phil Foden hat-trick in Man City's comeback win over Brentford secures new Premier League goal record

The England superstar slotted home 20 minutes from time to complete a stunning hat-trick and a resounding win for Pep Guardiola's side. That strike was the fourth of the game, following Brentford's opener through Neal Maupay, taking the weekend's tally across all 10 matches to 45 goals. That amount is a Premier League record since the competition was reduced to a 20-team season from 1995-96 onwards.
