Mamelodi Sundowns completed a double over Kaizer Chiefs following a narrow 1-0 win at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
Sundowns had to sweat it out for what was their 12th straight victory which leaves them 17 points ahead of second-placed Richards Bay who have two games in hand and 22 ahead of the Glamour Boys.
It was a much-improved performance from Chiefs as they gave as much as they received but the Brazilians walked away with a win thanks to Neo Maema, who netted his fifth goal of the season.
