Louis Rees-Zammit spotted among Man Utd fans as Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes' new Kansas City Chiefs team-mate enjoys crazy match against Chelsea

Rees-Zammit was spotted in the away stand with United fans as the Red Devils lost 4-3 in the 101st minute of the game thanks to a Cole Palmer hat-trick. The Welsh NFL star also posted a story on his Instagram as he watched on from the away stand.

Only a week earlier the former rugby star made the sensational move from Rugby Union to the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs to join forces with Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. He put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Chiefs and could possibly be part of their 53-man squad for the NFL main season.

The game saw Chelsea make a crazy comeback against United with goals in the 99th and the 101st minute of the game after going down 3-2 thanks to a brace by Alejandro Garnacho and a Bruno Fernandes header after Chelsea took an early two-goal lead in the first 20 minutes of the clash.

The Welshman will begin training with the Chiefs in the United States as he will look to break the stigma against switching between rugby and American football. With physical and athletic skills in abundance, a key challenge for Rees-Zammit will be his ability and aptitude for learning.
