Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp addresses Man City's 115 Premier League charges as German pays ultimate compliment to long-time rival Pep Guardiola

Klopp's farewell season at Liverpool hasn't exactly gone according to plan as Man City look set to win their fourth-straight Premier League title. However, for Man City all isn't as smooth as it seems with the club having been hit with 115 charges by the Premier League regarding financial irregularities. The charges are currently under investigation, and Klopp has maintained a neutral outlook on the charges but heaped praises on Guardiola regardless of what happened with the club off the field.

Speaking to the media, Klopp said [via The Express]: "Everybody knows about the 115 charges, but I have no clue what that means. I only know the number.

"No matter what has transpired at Manchester City, Pep Guardiola is the best manager in the world - and that is truly significant. If you put any other manager in that club, they don't win the league four times in a row. That's down to him and his team.

"Does that mean they can do whatever they want? No. But I don't know what they did - if they did anything - and I'm not here to say they have. We will see. Of course, I would like to know (if City are guilty) one day. Everyone wants to know. But I will be somewhere else.

"The quality of Pep makes the difference so I don't worry about these things. We will see. It's not my problem and I am fine with what we have and what we've achieved."

Under Klopp and Guardiola, Liverpool and Man City have undergone wonderful transformations and become some of the best teams in the world. The two sides have also shared a number of wonderful title races over the last six years. As for the charges against Man City, it is expected that the investigation will soon conclude and Premier League CEO Richard Masters has even announced that a date has been set for a decision.

The final matchday of the Premier League season will be memorable for both managers. Klopp will lead Liverpool one last time, while Guardiola's Man City will lift their fourth-straight Premier League title if they can beat West Ham.
