Major League Soccer witnessed the Argentine's magic yet again as the 36-year-old managed to garner five assists in the second half of the game and also scored once as Inter Miami cruised to a 6-2 win to secure their position atop the Eastern Conference. Former New England Revolution and MLS pundit Taylor Twellman was left stunned by the former Barcelona man's record-breaking performance.

He wrote on X: "Messi has 10G/11A and he missed 4 games!!!!!!! Who's having a laugh now????? my god."

During the match, Messi made multiple MLS records for the Herons as he became the player with the most assists in a single match and the most goal contributions in a single match. The Argentine now has 23 goals and assists in just 11 matches this year in all competitions.

The Argentine will in action up next when the Herons take on Montreal on Saturday, May 4 as they look to increase the gap between themselves and Cincinnati in the Eastern Conference.
