Jose Mourinho reunion for Harry Kane? Ex-Tottenham & Chelsea boss 'keen' on Bayern Munich job as pressure ramps up on Thomas Tuchel

The harrowing 3-0 defeat at the hands of league leaders Bayer Leverkusen has put immense pressure on Thomas Tuchel as Bayern Munich currently trail Xabi Alonso's side by five points after 21 games. Saturday's defeat has reportedly left the fans frustrated as 'Tuchel out' posters were seen on Sabener Strasse.

Now, BILD reports that former Roma, Chelsea and Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is being considered as one of the favourite candidates to replace Tuchel at the helm. They further claim that the Portuguese manager is reportedly learning German and his name could be considered if the Bayern officials part ways with their current boss.

Mourinho, who previously managed Harry Kane at Tottenham, would reunite with the England captain in Germany if selected.

Despite the Leverkusen thrashing and their fans' sentiment slowly going against the German coach, club CEO Jan-Chistian Dreesen has claimed that they have full faith in Tuchel and are not considering parting ways with the former Borussia Dortmund coach.

Only time will tell if the 60-year-old coach will take over at Die Roten. For now, they will focus on their upcoming Champions League round of 16 clash against Lazio on Wednesday.
