Former England international Lingard has, according to The Sun, placed JLingz Ltd into voluntary liquidation. That is because the latest accounts lodged with Companies House show that the firm sits £276,883 in the red.
Lingard faced criticism when piecing together plans for a brand that features his famous ‘JL’ goal celebration symbol. United legend Gary Neville said ahead of a Premier League contest that saw the Red Devils suffer a 3-1 defeat at Anfield: "Before Liverpool away - the biggest match of the season - don’t launch a clothes brand."

Lingard left Old Trafford as a free agent in 2022 and spent a season with Nottingham Forest before being released again. He is now plying his trade in South Korea at FC Seoul, with the 32-year-old rediscovering his smile on the pitch as off-field ventures become a source of frustration.
