  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The Three Lions captain took to Instagram to share some photographs of the England players enjoying water volleyball ahead of their upcoming Nations League group-stage clash against Ireland. In his post, the Bayern Munich star took a hilarious dig at team-mate Kyle Walker who ended up on the losing side.

    In the caption of his Instagram post, the star striker wrote, "There are water volleyball winners and then there’s also @kylewalker2’s team."

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    The former Tottenham forward did not feature in Lee Carsley's starting XI in their previous game, however, England comfortably clinched a 3-0. Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins made it to the starting lineup and played until the 66th minute when Kane replaced him. Liverpool's Curtis Jones stole the limelight in the game as he scored his maiden international goal in his debut game.
