THE BIGGER PICTURE
While the Italy international's condition continues to remain a headache for Arne Slot, there was good news for the Liverpool boss as well. First-choice goalkeeper Alisson and forward Diogo Jota rejoined training after spending a considerable amount of time in the treatment room. Alisson has not played a game for the Merseyside club since suffering a hamstring injury against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on October 5. Jota, on the other hand, remained sidelined since the club's clash against Chelsea on October 20.

The current Premier League leaders have been considering parting ways with Chiesa, who has failed to live up to the expectations. The 27-year-old has been linked with a move back to Italy; Napoli have reportedly shown interest in the winger.
