Federico Chiesa heading back to Italy? Liverpool flop still on Napoli's radar as struggling winger considers Betis move to reignite career

The winger has been the subject of interest of the Serie A champions, according to SportItalia, with Antonio Conte looking to invest in two new wingers ahead of next season.

Chiesa, who moved from Juventus to Liverpool in the summer of 2024, only played 104 minutes in the Premier League in a season full of injuries. Chiesa would like to leave Liverpool for more playing time and has options in the form of Real Betis and AC Milan. Meanwhile Napoli are in search of wingers after Cyril Ngonge could be sold and Noah Okafor has returned to parent club Milan at the end of his loan.

Napoli have completed the signing of Kevin De Bruyne on a free transfer. They are also in negotiations with Milan for USMNT player Yunus Musah.

Chiesa had a torrid season at Liverpool despite the club lifting the Premier League trophy. The 27-year-old, once a mainstay at Juventus and the Italian national team, will hope a move helps improve his chances of playing for Italy in the 2026 World Cup.
