'0161 is red!' - Ella Toone revels in Man Utd's derby win over Man City as she dedicates stunning hat-trick to late father

The English midfielder scored a brilliant hat-trick on Sunday as she helped United register a thumping 4-2 win over rivals Manchester City at Etihad Stadium. The win helped the Red Devils to overtake City and claim the third position on the league table.

Toone celebrated the brilliant derby win by sharing some photographs from the game on Instagram and wrote in the caption: "Manny derby win. 0161 is red!"

The Lionesses star also dedicated her sensational hat trick to her late father Nick Toone, who sadly passed away at the age of 59 in September 2024. On her Instagram story, Toone shared an image where she put the match ball and her Player of the Match trophy on a photograph of her dad and wrote: "Always for you Big T."
