According to reports in Greece, Arsenal are 'very close' to securing an agreement for attacking midfielder Karetsas, who can also play as a winger, to join them this summer for a fee worth up to £38m ($51.6m).

The 17-year-old has drawn comparisons to Arsenal captain Odegaard and if this deal goes through, the teenager would become the most expensive Greek transfer signing of all time - breaking the record held by Kostas Manolas when he swapped Roma for Napoli for £30m ($40.7m) in 2019.
