Arsenal suffer huge injury blow as William Saliba is forced out of Liverpool clash with knock just minutes into Anfield duel
Arsenal were dealt a massive blow at the start of their crucial Premier League clash against Liverpool as star defender William Saliba was forced to leave the field after picking up an injury. Saliba lasted just four minutes on the ground as he could no longer continue following a knock. New signing Cristhian Mosquera replaced the Frenchman in the backline.

The Gunners suffered a fresh injury blow at the start of their trip to Anfield on Sunday as defender Saliba was forced to leave the pitch in the fifth minute of the match. Spanish defender Mosquera replaced the Frenchman in the Arsenal backline.
Mosquera, who replaced Saliba in the centre-back role, moved to the Premier League in the summer transfer window from Valencia. He was handed his Gunners debut against Leeds last week.

Arsenal's medical staff will thoroughly look at Saliba's injury before giving a final verdict on the defender's condition. It now seems unlikely that he will join the France squad during the upcoming international break.
