Zahera: We have to use Yanga B in the remaining league matches

Mwinyi Zahera has suggested that Yanga will use team B in their remaining Ligi Kuu matches in order to save energy for the first team players to fight in the Caf Confederation Cup.

Yanga have returned home from Algeria after receiving a 4-0 defeat from USM Alger in their opening game of group stage last Sunday.

In the Ligi Kuu, Yanga have six games remaining but with no hopes of defending their title with Simba needing only two points to seal the title.

Speaking after landing in Tanzania from Algeria, Zahere said that with the congestive fixture list, Yanga have to deal with one important thing, and that is the Caf tournament.

“We have nothing to lose in the Ligi Kuu, so we have to decide to use our second team and the first team must concentrate in the Caf tournament,” said Zahera.

Yanga have to prepare for another CAF clash against Rayon Sports which is set to be played on May 16.
