Who will be the next England manager?

England were left embarrassed and managerless following a 2-1 defeat to Iceland in the Euro 2016 round of 16, seeing the Three Lions fail to meet expectations in yet another international tournament. 

Roy Hodgson, who also oversaw group stage exit at the 2014 World Cup, resigned soon after the defeat, leaving the manager's chair vacant and prompting speculation about his successor. 

Under-21's manager Gareth Southgate has been installed as the early favourite, with Eddie Howe and Gary Neville also in the running.

Southgate's stock has risen since relegation with Middlesbrough in 2009, winning the Toulon Tournament this summer, while Eddie Howe has guided Bournemouth from mediocrity to the Premier League and Neville was recently sacked by Valencia, also working as a member of Hodgson's England staff.
