This is the first Malaysia Cup for JDT and for myself. It's every players' dream and mine as well, to lift this trophy. Whatever everyone says, we are still one team, one family at JDT. We are the best. We know what we can do, so we just play our own goal. If we do that, in my mind, we are the best there is. Yes, this completes all the cups for me but I still thirst for more. To win more for myself and for my club. I won't stop here.

Izham Tarmizi

I'm very happy and proud of the team. I'm feel lucky to be part of JDT. I'm always focused 100%. The defence helped me and I thought we did well. Of course we are the better team tonight. The outcome is a result of our hard work and training.

Gary Steven Robbat

I'm very happy because this is the first time in my life and I hope to win again with JDT in the future. Coach already told me before that I'll start. I have been playing in the last few match in the league, so it's not a surprise. Suddenly my hamstring pull and I need to go out. I tried to go on but couldn't at the end.

Aidil Zafuan

It's a very meaningful win for me. This is for my father who I know is there in spirit for me. I really wanted to win it for him this year and thankfully we have achieved it. Sometimes we are in form and sometimes we are not but that is football. Maybe it's just my luck to play in the final. I've had a couple of injuries this season and honestly wasn't in great form throughout. Actually I could have played on, maybe there was a miscommunication. It's just that I wanted to play the full 90 minutes and it was just a minor frustration at that moment.

Hazwan Bakri

This is my luck to be in the third consecutive final. This win makes up for the disappointment of last year. This is an important win.

Gonzalo Cabrera

I'm very happy and thank you to my family, colleagues and fans that come to the stadium. Yes, I think the second goal was the one that killed the game as there was only 10 minutes left after that. This is one of the best moment of my life.
