Super Eagles return to Asaba after successful South Africa mission

Nigeria have returned to their training base in Asaba ahead of their international friendly against Uganda on Tuesday.

The Super Eagles will host Sebastien Desabre’s side at the Stephen Keshi Stadium after holding South Africa to a 1-1 stalemate in Johannesburg.

The result at the FNB Stadium confirmed the west Africans’ return to the continental stage with a game at hand while Uganda also sealed their spot in next year’s Africa Cup of Nations with a 1-0 win over Cape Verde in Kampala on Saturday.

Nigeria are yet to lose a game to an African country in 2018 and will hope to wrap up the international calendar for the year with a win in front of home fans on Tuesday.
