Rasheedat Ajibade and Christy Ohiaeriaku listed for Super Falcons second phase camping

Rasheedat Ajibade, Christy Ohiaeriaku and 13 others were retained for the second phase of the senior women’s team camping ahead of next month’s Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in Ghana.

The Super Falcons had started preparation for Ghana 2018 on October 18, with 29 home-based players taking part in the first camping phase at the Jubilee Chalets & Resort, Epe, Lagos.

Having completed the first camping phase, team’s head coach Thomas Dennerby has dropped 14 players including former Nigeria U20 midfielder Christy Ucheibe, who copped a knee injury.

Apart from Ajibade and Ohiaeiaku, others also retained in camp were Tochukwu Oluehi, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Anam Imo, Peace Efih and Glory Ogbonna.

They will be joined by the invited 19 foreign-based professionals for the second stage of camping preparation, starting on Monday, October 29 in Epe.
