NPFL giants Enugu Rangers set resumption date

Enugu Rangers will resume training on June 10 to strategise for their Nigeria Professional Football League campaign.

The seven-time African champions are enjoying a 10-day break as a result of the 2018 Fifa World Cup holding in Russia.

And in their quest to end well in the Nigeria topflight log, the Flying Antelopes will return early to camp to prepare for their remaining league games.

“I thank you all for your various contributions so far in the league and urge that we all keep to the scheduled date of resumption,” said club CEO Davidson Owumi while addressing the players.

“It is my strong belief that we can still get our acts right in the last part of the league as well as the national Aiteo cup.

“I wish you all a peaceful celebration with your families,” stated the former NPL boss.”

Gbenga Ogunbote’s men have garnered 33 points from 24 matches to place 10th on the log.
