Nigeria's Charles Ezeh joins Lillestrom

Nigeria youngster Charles Ezeh has signed a four-year contract with Norwegian side, Lillestrom after impressing during his two-week trial.

The former Gee-Lec Academy player's arrival was made known on the club website with sporting director, Torgeir Bjarmann confident his ability.

“We have a long-term perspective with Charles. He probably needs some time to adapt to the Norwegian league, but he has good basic skills and a good passing foot,” said Bjarmann.

At the Arsasen Stadium, he will be hoping to play alongside compatriots Ifeanyi Mathew and Bonke Innocent in the Canaries middle.

Arne Erlandsen’s men are 10th on the Eliteserien log with 16 points from 22 games. They host Stabæk in their next encounter on Saturday.
