Ahmed Musa is in my thoughts, says Leicester City's Craig Shakespeare

Leicester City boss Craig Shakespeare has disclosed that he still has Nigeria's Ahmed Musa 'in his thoughts' and might get the nod to play in the game against Everton on Sunday.

The forward who was an unused substitute in Leceister City's 2-0 win over Sunderland on Tuesday has made 19 league appearances for the Foxes, with only seven starts since the club record transfer from CSKA Moscow in July.

Musa was the hero in the Foxes 2-1 win over Everton in the FA Cup third round after scoring two second half goals at the Goodison Park before they were later knocked out by Millwall in the fifth round.

He has not ruled the possibility of giving the Super Eagles forward a chance to repeat the impressive form at theGoodison Park as they aim for a top ten spot this weekend with just a point behind a point tenth placed Watford.

"They're all in my thoughts, Musa being one of them. He's trained very well in the last couple of days," Shakespeare was quoted by Leicester Mercury.

"Players will tell you they want a run of games. When you come on this side, it's very hard to give them a run of games because sometimes there are other people in front of them.

"He's shown glimpses and we have to make sure they're all ready."
