Malaga sign Morocco’s Badr Boulahroud

Malaga have completed the signing of Badr Boulahroud from Moroccan top-flight club FUS Rabat.

The 25-year-old becomes the first signing of the Albicelestes this summer following their relegation to the second tier of the Spanish League last campaign.

Boulahroud played in every of Morocco’s games [four starts and two substitute appearances] at the 2018 African Nations Championship as his country lifted the trophy on home soil.

The midfielder will be joining compatriots Adnane Tighadouini and Youssef En-Nesyri at the Rosaleda next season as they aim for a return to La Liga.

"I want to thank the club for the trust it has placed in me to let me come here," Boulahroud told club website.

"Málaga is a great team with a lot of history and followers, and that is the reason why I came to Málaga."

"I do not think it's hard for me to adapt. Everyone is helping me. The second division has great teams and we will try to give our best."
