<p>Manchester United’s interim boss Ralf Rangnick admits that his side are some way behind arch-rivals City, while also conceding that he does not know what Cristiano Ronaldo will be available again after seeing the Portuguese superstar sit out a 4-1 derby defeat.</p><p>Rangnick has told <em>Sky Sports</em>: "They are one of the top teams in the world and there is a gap between the two teams.</p><p>"We are fully aware we need to win games. This is one of the most difficult. It is accepting they were the better team today. <p>Kevin De Bruyne bagged a brace for Manchester City in their 4-1 derby win over arch-rivals United and was delighted to lay a surprisingly poor home record against the Red Devils to rest.</p><p>He has told <em>Sky Sports</em>: "The chances came from that side and when they arrive I have to be in the right place. I can't explain why we always win over there [Old Trafford] but have more difficulty at home. Today, we played really well and deserved the three points.</p><p>"It's about winning game by game. They [Liverpool] won yesterday but we responded in the right way. Sometimes we don't get the result but we always play the right way and we will fight until the end of the season."</p>
